Seamless Socks Could be Solution for Kids Who Refuse to Wear Shoes
Posted by: Seamless Socks Devotee In: Seamless Socks
Many parents can attest to experiences when their children just refuse to wear shoes. And who can blame them – the children that is.
Who likes wearing shoes?
Children are often extra-sensitive to pressure on their growing feet, and footwear can become such a nuisance that children often choose to forego wearing socks because traditional socks tend to bunch up inside shoes. The bunching up of socks can be extremely irritating to the feet of children.
To combat their children’s refusal to wear socks, some parents buy shoes that are sometimes too small that won’t allow their kids’ feet to slide around in the shoe.
But what does that do? Well, likely it makes children even more incensed to go shoeless.
Some parents of children with Autism have suggested using seamless socks, which have no seam at the toe and reduce the chances of bunching up within shoes. Seamless socks won’t irritate the skin of children as much as traditional socks will.
Trying seamless socks may help parents get their children to keep their shoes on, especially when wearing shoes is necessary, such as in school. If you are a parent of a hyper-sensitive child, have you tried seamless socks? What has been your experience?
